| There are many famous names in
the world of studio pottery whose lives and work are well documented
in the literature and on the web but equally there are many fine
potters who deserve to be remembered.
I was recently contacted by Sue Blatherwick,
who is the daughter of the potter Robert Blatherwick. Robert worked
at the Leach Pottery in St. Ives and with Michael Cardew at Winchcombe
Pottery before setting up his own studio in Lincoln.
I am hoping to document other past potters who
have slipped (sorry!) below the radar.
