Tomoo Hamada at work

Tomoo is the grandson of Shoji Hamada who came to St. Ives in 1920 to help Bernard Leach establish the Leach Pottery. In March 2009 Tomoo made the same journey from his pottery in Mashiko, Japan to make some pots and open his exhibition at the restored Leach Pottery.
