Exhibition pots

This exhibition at the Leach Pottery in St. Ives shows 60 of Janet's pots alongside a timeline which traces her life story in words and images. Janet had a very interesting life, she was a welder in a New York shipyard before travelling to Japan and learning to make pots. After marrying Bernard in 1956 she took charge of the daily running of the Leach Pottery and made many wonderful pots, some of which are on display here.

The exhibition runs until July 3rd 2010.
