Penlee House is to be congratulated
in producing a fascinating exhibition featuring the work of many
of the potters who set up their studios in the Penwith area of
West Cornwall. The donation of a large collection of pots became
the catalyst for staff member Katie Herbert to conceive the exhibition.
Included in the show are examples of work from all of the major
potteries, including Leach, Troika, Boscean, Celtic, Tremaen,
Leaper and Lamorna, and items by individual potters such as John
Bedding, Alan Brough and William Marshall.
